2017 Adlai E. Stevenson Award
In celebration of Human Rights Day - December 7, 2017, at 4:30 PM
Robertson Hall of the Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton University - Princeton, NJ
(Retired) Ambassador Daniel Kurtzer, lecturer and S. Daniel Abraham Professor in Middle Eastern Policy Studies at Princeton University, is
the recipient of the 2017 Adlai Stevenson Award for his career of service to the global community. Amb. Kurtzer served as the United States ambassador to Israel (2001-2005) and Egypt (1997-2001), following two decades in the foreign service. The Princeton-Trenton Area Chapter of the United Nations Association (UNA-USA) presented the award in celebration of former U.S. Ambassador to the UN and Princeton alumnus Adlai E. Stevenson II's career. Princeton University's Program in Law and Public Affairs, and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs co-sponsored and hosted the event.

2016 Adlai E. Stevenson Award
In celebration of Human Rights Day - December 8, 2016, at 4:30 PM
Robertson Hall of the Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton University - Princeton, NJ
United Nations Rapporteur for Extreme Poverty and Human Rights Philip G. Alston, the John Norton Pomeroy Professor of Law at New York University School of Law, and co-founder of its Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, delivered an address accepting the 2016 Adlai Stevenson Award for his human rights career of service to the global community. The event took place at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, on December 8, 2016, at 4:30 PM. The Princeton-Trenton Area Chapter of the United Nations Association (UNA-USA) presented the award in celebration of former U.S. Ambassador to the UN and Princeton alumnus Adlai E. Stevenson II's career. Princeton University's Program in Law and Public Affairs co-sponsored and hosted the event.

Human rights advocate and United Nations Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment  Juan E. Méndez received the 2015 Adlai Stevenson Award for a career of service to the global community on Thursday, December 10 at 4:30 PM in Bowl 2 of Robertson Hall at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs. The Princeton-Trenton Area Chapter of the United Nations Association (UNA-USA) presented the award in celebration of former U.S. Ambassador to the UN and Princeton alumnus Adlai E. Stevenson II's career.
